✂️ What is deadstock fabric?
Deadstock fabric is leftover fabric from fashion brands, manufacturers, or textile mills that would otherwise go unused. Instead of letting these beautiful textiles sit in storage or end up in a landfill, we give them a second chance by connecting them with creative makers.
Because of this, many of our fabrics are available in limited quantities. Once they're gone, they're usually gone for good.
🧵 Is all of your fabric secondhand?
Our collection includes both deadstock and carefully sourced secondhand fabrics. Every fabric is hand-selected for its quality, uniqueness, and creative potential.
If we wouldn't be excited to sew with it ourselves, it doesn't make it into the shop.
🪡 Do you inspect your fabrics?
Yes!
Every fabric is inspected before it's listed.
If we notice any flaws, imperfections, or signs of wear, they'll always be mentioned in the product description so there are no surprises.
📏 How is fabric sold?
Unless otherwise noted, fabric is sold by the yard.
If you order multiple yards of the same fabric, we'll do our best to send it as one continuous cut.
Example:
Quantity 1 = 1 yard
Quantity 2 = 2 continuous yards
Quantity 3 = 3 continuous yards
📦 How quickly do orders ship?
Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1–3 business days.
You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Indy Fabric is a dog-friendly household. While we take care to keep fabrics clean and stored appropriately, we cannot guarantee that our fabrics are free from pet hair, dander, or other allergens.
